Rutgers Health researchers say the influence of abdominal fat on brain health and cognition is more significant in middle-aged men at a high risk of Alzheimer’s than women. Researchers found pancreatic and liver fat, in particular, emerged as a more specific indicator of the risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
