An NHRC team will collect evidence from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in Wayanad, Kerala on Monday, 8 April in the wake of the tragic death of student Siddharthan JS found hanging in the hostel bathroom on 18 February. The team will record the statements of students, teaching and non-teaching staff, members of the anti-ragging committee, and others.
