Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on 28 February, asserted that good governance meant ensuring a peaceful life for people and called upon the police to back the government’s endeavour by striving to create a crime-free society. The police should never allow crimes to happen, he said while addressing newly inducted officers at the Tamil Nadu Police Academy at Oonamanchery.
