Stalin seeks votes for sister in Thoothukudi, Kanimozhi files papers

Stalin sought votes from a cross-section of society, including women and fishermen, who the party said assured him that they would vote for Kanimozhi.

DMK President and Chief Minister MK Stalin sought votes for his party nominee and sister Kanimozhi in Thoothukudi, on Tuesday, 26 March, as the latter filed her nomination papers. The Chief Minister visited the house of a fisherman in the Lions Town area for a cup of tea. He also visited a local vegetable market and canvassed for votes.
