Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is contesting from Pulivendula constituency is the son of former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Polls

Sons of six former Andhra Pradesh chief ministers are contesting in the forthcoming Assembly elections. One of them is current chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The others are Nara Lokesh, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nadendla Manohar, Nedurumalli Ramkumar Reddy and Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy. The grandfather of Lokesh, NT Rama Rao, was also a chief minister.
