Smoke in Vande Bharat coach in Kerala from fire extinguisher: Railways

The incident was reported in the C-5 coach of the Vande Bharat train in the Kalamassery - Aluva section at 8:55 am.

A white mist-like smoke in a coach of the Vande Bharat Express from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod in the morning of Wednesday, 28 February was caused by an inadvertent activation of the inbuilt fire extinguisher in the lavatory, a Railway official said. No passenger suffered any health problems due to the smoke, the official said, discounting reports of gas leakage.
