Three people were detained in connection with the abduction of a 10-year-old girl in Kerala’s Kasaragod district. The girl was sleeping in her house when she was abducted early on Wednesday. She was later found in a nearby field without her gold earrings. She was reportedly sexually assaulted. The girl described her abductor as a Malayalam-speaking thin man.
