Six killed after tipper-hit bus catches fire in AP

A passenger who escaped the fire, speaking with TV channel said, among the dead, three people belonged to same family, including a nine-year-old.

Six persons were charred to death when a private bus in which they were travelling, caught fire after being hit by a gravel-laden tipper near Chilakaluripet in Andhra Pradesh’s Palnadu district. The mishap occurred during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. The deceased were part of 40 passengers returning from Bapatla to Hyderabad after casting their votes.
