Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has a probe by a Special Investigation Team into the 18 February death of a student of the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in Wayanad. He also ordered strict legal action against the accused. The Congress and the BJP have been accusing the SFI of beating the student to death. The SFI denied the allegation.
