In the wake of widespread protest from various organisations and political parties condemning the murder of a minor girl in Puducherry, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to investigate the case, police said on Thursday, 7 March. G Vivekanandan and M Kakka alias Karunaas have been arrested in connection with the murder of the nine-year-old girl.
