Last Wednesday, 16 dead monkeys were extracted from a drinking water tank located at Vijay Vihar, Hill Colony of Nagarjunasagar. Viral videos circulated, suggesting drinking water was being supplied from this tank despite monkeys dead inside. A show cause notice has been issued by Nalgonda District Collector to Municipal Commissioner of Nandikonda and Executive Engineer of Nagarjunsagar Project for negligence.
