Completing the fifth state of Cauvery water supply work by May end, procuring unused milk tankers, utilise operational borewells even in private properties, identifying water sources, and setting up a call centre are among a comprehensive plan to address Bengaluru’s water crisis, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said. The government has also allotted ₹556 crore to ensure drinking water.
