The alleged suicide of a judge of the Margamkali competition at the Kerala University Youth Festival has sparked a controversy, with the Congress blaming the SFI for his death. The deceased, PN Shaji (51) of Kannur, was among four persons taken into police custody on bribery charges. In a death note, Shaji said he had given marks on merit.
