Actor-politician Seeman is turning out to be a crowd-puller in Tamil Nadu. His Naam Tamilar Katchi, which supports the cause of Tamil nationalism, is a hit among educated youngsters. NTK’s 16 of the 39 candidates are medical doctors. Seeman’s political rhetoric, his sharp criticism of the other parties, and his pro-Tamil stand are attracting the educated from the backward and oppressed communities.
