Congress will contest from Puducherry in addition to 9 seats in Tamil Nadu. With this, sharing of all 39+1 seats is complete for INDIA bloc.

The DMK, on Saturday, allotted nine seats in Tamil Nadu and one in neighbouring Puducherry to the Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. DMK president and Chief Minister MK Stalin and TNCC chief K Selvaperunthagai finalised the deal. AICC general secretary KC Venugopal exuded confidence in the DMK-led combine winning all 40 seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
