The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, dismissed a batch of petitions seeking review of its 11 December 2023 verdict that upheld the Centre’s decision to abrogate provisions of Article 370. A five-judge bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud considered the pleas in chambers. The court also rejected permission to appear and argue in person, a request from various petitioners.
