SC posts PIL seeking SIT probe into electoral bonds to 22 Jul

The previous PIL of the two NGOs alleges an "apparent quid pro quo" between political parties, corporations, and investigative agencies.

Electoral Bonds

The Supreme Court on Friday said a PIL seeking a court-monitored investigation into the electoral bonds scheme will be heard on 22 July. A bench comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra took note of the submissions and listed them for hearing on 22 July. The bench said a similar plea would also be taken with the previous PIL.
