SC extends stay in hate speech case against Annamalai

The complainant had accused Annamalai of delivering the hate speech against Christians in an interview on 22 October, 2022 with regard to the bursting of crackers two days before Diwali.

The has SC extended stay on trial of a criminal case against Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai for his alleged hate speech against Christians in a YouTube channel interview in October 2022. The complainant had accused Annamalai over the bursting of crackers two days before Diwali. A SC bench asked the complainant to file his response within six weeks.
