The Madras High Court on Wednesday, 6 March, declined a “quo warranto” on petitions by members of a Hindu nationalist outfit against DMK’s Udhayanidhi Stalin, PK Sekar Babu and A Raja, questioning their right to hold office after they made comments allegedly against Sanatana Dharma. The court, however, observed that persons holding high posts must make statements responsibly.
