Sabarimala: Devaswom Board has plans to allow only virtual queue

The TDB decisions came after both spot booking and virtual queue led to large crowds of Sabarimala pilgrims waiting inordinately.

Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) may allow only virtual queues for Ayyappa devotees in Sabarimala. This measure has irked not only the devotees but also organisations working for their welfare. The TDB decisions came after both spot booking and virtual queue led to large crowds of Sabarimala pilgrims waiting inordinately. The Board also want to limit daily footfalls to 80,000.
