With a drinking water problem looming large in Hyderabad, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday, 12 April, asked officials to talk to neighbouring Karnataka for the release of water into Krishna river from Naryanapur reservoir. With the Lok Sabha polls less than a month away, he appears keen to ensure water scarcity does not affect Congress’ political preparedness.
