On Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy raised with Prime Minister Narendra Modi the sensitive issue of putting up coal blocks in the Singareni area for auction. In a representation to the PM, the CM sought his intervention to remove the Sravanpally Coal Block from the list of coal blocks scheduled for auction and reserve it for Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).
