Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hit out at BJP and recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s alleged comments in parliament insulting Telangana about the state’s formation. He claimed Modi said then-UPA government closed the doors of Parliament when the bill for Telangana’s formation was passed and that “mother (Andhra Pradesh)” was “killed” to give birth to the “child (Telangana)”.
