The move comes after the EVMs were destroyed at a polling station in Hanur in Chamarajanagar district on Friday during a clash between two groups.

Karnataka 2024 Lok Sabha Polls Chamarajanagar EVMs Boycott

The Election Commission said on Saturday, 27 April, that repolling would be conducted at a polling station under the Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha Constituency in Karnataka on 29 April. In a letter to the Karnataka chief electoral officer, the EC declared that voting held at the polling station was void, based on reports from officials.
