NDA’s Thiruvananthapuram candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar finds himself embroiled in a controversy over his reported income for 2021-22. In his affidavit, Rajeev showed his total income for that fiscal as ₹680. Strangely, his income for 2020-21 was ₹17,51,540 and for 2022-23, ₹5,59,200. Congress has seized upon this revelation, accusing the BJP candidate from Thiruvananthapuram of trying to hide his actual income.
