Rain havoc: 7 migrant workers die in Hyderabad wall collapse

Their bodies were recovered early on Wednesday, 8 May, from under the debris using an excavator, police said.

Heavy rains lash Hyderabad

At least seven persons, including a four-year-old child, were killed when a retaining wall at an under-construction apartment came crashing down due to heavy rains in Bachupally area of Hyderabad, police said on Wednesday, 8 May. The deceased were migrant workers from Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed shock and sought a report on the incident.
