Railways to eliminate curves on Kerala rail routes

The railways expects to complete these works within three months.

The railways initiated efforts to straighten sharp curves along rail routes in Kerala, between Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore, to enhance the speed of trains running. Thiruvananthapuram Divisional Railway Manager Manish Thapliyal said that the railways expects to complete these works within the next three months. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate various projects at functions organised across the country.
