Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, 19 May, lashed out at Congress and Rahul Gandhi, saying any industrialist would think 50 times before investing in states ruled by the party, owing to the “shehzada’s use of Maoist language”. At a poll rally in Jharkhand, Modi also accused the Congress of patronising dynastic politics and considering Lok Sabha seats as “ancestral properties”.
