Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, 3 May, asserted Congress’ tally in the polls will be at an “all-time low”, as he mocked its leader Rahul Gandhi’s decision to contest from Raebareli, “sensing defeat” at Wayanad where he is a sitting MP. He challenged Congress to give in writing it wouldn’t amend the Constitution to provide reservations based on religion.
