The ACP of Shadnagar is conducting an inquiry into the matter and further action would be taken based on the inquiry report, the statement said.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, on Sunday, has ordered a probe into the alleged police torture of a Dalit woman. A Dalit woman had alleged that she was summoned to the Shadnagar station in a theft case and assaulted in the presence of her minor son. The CM ordered the shifting of those officers involved to the police headquarters.
