The PMK manifesto unveiled on Wednesday said it would make parents’ approval mandatory for the marriage of women below the age of 21 years. The BJP ally in Tamil Nadu said it was to prevent them from getting cheated by “staged love”. The party also said it would push for a law to guarantee MSP for farm produce.
