Amid the ongoing Bengaluru water crisis, the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has fined 22 families ₹5,000 each for violating its order against using potable water for non-essential purposes. The order came nearly two weeks ago, and the action was taken based on complaints received on social media.
