Kerala Opposition leader VS Satheesan has approached the Election Commission of India to ask Doordarshan to revoke its decision “to telecast the extremely malicious The Kerala Story movie”. A day earlier, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan made a similar demand to Doordarshan. Satheesan stated that the screening of the film before elections would violate the moral code of conduct.
