In the Old City area of Hyderabad, youngsters are hesitant to venture outside during late evenings since police patrol vans force them out of the streets from 9 pm. Police cite recent murders as the reason for the restrictions. The situation, however, has evoked mixed responses from the residents with the majority of them opposing the restrictions and a few concerned parents deeming them necessary.
