NGO event transforms waste into hope for rural schools

Bengaluru-based Amith Amaranth led a successful mission to turn his city cleaner and greener. In 2014, he founded the NGO Youth for Parivarthan. The aim was to create a cleaner and greener Bengaluru out of a desire to tackle the city’s mounting garbage problem. Rural students, too, benefitted as the NGO recycled notebooks.
