NEET row: Centre orders CBI probe; Opposition slams government

The Union government announced that the probe into alleged irregularities in the NEET UG 2024 will be handed over to the CBI. It also announced a seven-member panel headed by former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan for exam reforms. The Congress hit out at PM Modi over the postponement and cancellation of exams saying “the education system has been ruined”.
