YSRCP has promised to designate Vizag as the administrative capital of Andhra Pradesh. TDP leader Mathukumilli Sribharat is the NDA candidate for Visakhapatnam parliamentary seat. President of GITAM (Deemed to be University), he is also the son-in-law of actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna. He shared with South First his plans for Vizag and expressed views on various topics, including the three-capital plan.
