Muslim outfits call bandh on 22 April to flay Neha Hiremath murder

Offering condolences to her family, KSWC chairperson said Neha's death should not be politicised for personal gains.

Muslim organisations in Dharwad have given a bandh call on Monday, 22 April, condemning the murder of 23-year-old college student Neha Hiremath in Hubballi recently. Dharwad based Anjuman-e-Islam president Esmail Tamatgar said all Muslim businessmen will pray for her soul. Neha, daughter of a Congress Councillor was allegedly stabbed to death on 18 April. The accused Fayaz was arrested.
