Member of banned PFI arrested for K’taka RSS leader’s murder

Ghouse Nayazi, who was on the run since 2016, was arrested by a special team soon after he arrived from Dar-e-Salaam in Tanzania.

The NIA arrested a member of the now-banned Popular Front of India from Mumbai airport. He was allegedly the key conspirator in the murder of RSS leader R Rudresh of Karnataka. Ghouse Nayazi, on the run since 2016, was arrested on Friday after he arrived from Tanzania’s Dar-e-Salaam. Rudresh, an RSS leader of Shivajinagar in Bengaluru, was murdered in October 2016.
