The early morning operation was conducted by around 100 Lokayukta officials. It is not yet known if the officials seized any disproportionate assets.

The Lokayukta sleuths on Friday conducted statewide raids in 55 locations including Bengaluru, Tumkur, Kalaburagi, Chikkaballapur, Shivamogga, and Yadagiri. The raids mainly targeted 12 officials including two municipal commissioners. The Bengaluru Rural Municipal Administration Service Commissioner and Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner were among the raided officials.
