Three days after filing his nomination from the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, Gadag Sirahatti-Balehosur Mutt Pontiff Fakir Dingaleshwara Swami withdrew it on Monday, 22 April. The seer said he has withdrawn the nomination based on his guru’s advice. Emphasising that he has entered the polls to fight for “Dharam”, the swami refused to announce his support to any particular party.
