A fact-finding committee headed by senior leader and former deputy chairman of Rajya Sabha, PJ Kurien, on Thursday, began recording the statements of party leaders to find the reasons for the Congress’s dismal show in the Lok Sabha polls. Of the 17 Lok Sabha seats, the Congress could win only eight. The party high command had hoped to win 12 to 14 seats.
