Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Shivamogga, the BJP formed a team to pacify former deputy chief minister KS Eshwarappa, who had announced his plan to contest as an independent from the Shimoga Lok Sabha constituency after his son KE Kantesh was denied a ticket in Haveri-Gadag. Eshwarappa is up in arms against BS Yediyurappa and his family.
