The reported derogatory remarks against women by JD(S) state president HD Kumaraswamy have blown into a political controversy in the middle of election campaigning in Karnataka. He expressed his “grief” over his statement, but the KSWC registered a suo-motu case and sent him a notice. The Congress sought an explanation from the PM for aligning with such a person.
