The Kerala State Human Rights Commission on Friday, 22 March, initiated a case against Kalamandalam Satyabhama junior, a senior Mohiniyattam dancer, for her alleged racist remarks against a fellow artist, noted Mohiniyattam dancer Dr RLV Ramakrishnan, on a YouTube channel. Police and culture department officials have been asked to examine her statement and submit a report within a fortnight.
