On 2 April, three tourists — a man and two women — were found dead in a hotel in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh. Arya Nair, Naveen Thomas and Devi B were found dead with wrists slashed. A police SIT started probing the mysterious deaths of the Keralites. It is reported the trio had extensively searched the net for extra-terrestrial life.
