Kerala’s Pulikkali artistes feel Wayanad landslides’ aftershocks

Kerala’s Pulikkali artistes – whose ‘tiger dance’ signifies the culmination of Onam festivities – are now feeling the aftershocks of the landslides that hit Wayanad. The tragedy has hit them with the Kerala government calling off official Onam celebrations. All the Pulikkali teams have already spent lakhs of rupees preparing for the event and their livelihood depends on festivities being held.
