The main gate of the Kerala Secretariat turned into a battle zone on Wednesday, 6 March, as workers from social bodies and political parties clashed with the police and protested against the recent death of Siddharthan JS, a student of the Kerala Veterinary University in Wayanad. Police used water cannons and lathis to disperse the agitated crowd.
