The Kerala police have dropped the murder attempt charge against 27 school students registered after a priest was mowed down by a vehicle during a drag race at Poonjar in Kottayam. The charge was dropped after a peace meeting, and based on the police’s probe report. Father Joseph Attuchalil was hit by a vehicle when he tried to stop the race.
