A search operation led by the Karnataka and Kerala governments has ensued in Sirur in Karnataka as a lorry driver named Arjun hailing from Kozhikode in Kerala has been missing following a landslide on 16 July. The Siddaramaiah government instructed Karnataka Law and Order ADGP to oversee the investigation. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan instructed the Chief Secretary to coordinate with the Karnataka government.
